Enkidu Interactive is a board game and entertainment start-up that strives to bring friends and family together. I created this brand to act as the face of various gaming projects I plan to create over the next few years. The lineup of games kicked off with a horror-themed game called "Encounters: The Cryptid Hunting Game".
"Enkidu" was a legendary figure in ancient Mesopotamian mythology, and the wartime comrade and friend of Gilgamesh, king of Uruk. In the literary classic, 'The Epic of Gilgamesh', Enkidu is a wild man created by the god Anu with the sole purpose of being an equal match to the (then) arrogant and tyrannical King Gilgamesh. After humbling him in an intense wrestling match, the two become best friends, and the course of Gilgamesh's life changes forever.
As the brand grows, I hope to capture the spirit of that story by creating unique tabletop gaming experiences that continue the purpose of the wild man– A purpose that changed the world through fellowship, teamwork, and good-spirited competition.

Encounters: The Cryptid Hunting Game
Collect the items you need and use them to capture monsters, keep yourself alive, or hurt your fellow hunters. Can you stay alive long enough to score the most points?
The first full game I produced under the Enkidu Interactive brand. I designed the game, the cards, rules, rulebook, packaging, and boards. I also created all the marketing material, videos, and other promotional items required to get the game fully funded on Kickstarter.

As the biggest gaming project in my collection, this one has taken the longest to create and test. The finished game will feature a modular deck system, where players can combine any three (out of twelve) "culture decks" to create a custom experience whenever they play.
